Tree Condition – Tree Safety Survey Assessments

  • Visual Tree Assessment (VTA) from ground level (Stage 1). A preliminary risk assessment, which takes into consideration (but is not limited to) the presence of wood decay fungi, tree biomechanics, physiology, wind loading or exposure, management history, occupancy and current understanding of the species, together with its response to structural impairment. An informed assessment is made on the likelihood of part/s most likely to fail and reasonable recommendations are made on the foreseeable risk
  • Visual Aerial Inspection. Detailed inspection of aerial faults noted at (Stage 1) inspection that cannot not be physically seen or further inspected from ground level
  • Internal decay detection assessment. Use of decay detection equipment, to assess extent of decay. (Noted at stage 1 or stage 2 inspection)
